Setting up a timeslots event
To configure an appointment-based event with timeslots, open your event's Create/Edit page and navigate to the Time & Capacity section:

Once there, click the + button to add as many slots as you need:

You can also bulk-create slots by clicking the ⋮ button, setting the event's start and end time, then choosing the duration of each slot. This will generate the full series automatically:

Set a name and capacity for each slot. Once a slot reaches its capacity, no more invitees can RSVP, keeping attendance controlled automatically.
Note
Slot names are visible to invitees when they RSVP, so name them clearly.
You can also create timeslot events that span multiple days. Open the calendar, select your days, and set the timeslots for each one.

Claude responded: Managing slot and day visibility
Managing slot and day visibility
Control which days and slots appear on the RSVP page by toggling their checkboxes. Unchecked items won't be displayed, letting you handle them separately — useful for reserving slots or entire days for VIPs or invitees that follow a different RSVP process.

Assigning slots in the Invitees Manager
In the Invitees Manager, use the Attending on layout preference to view and assign slots to your invitees. You can also bulk update Attending on through the queue actions.
Note: The colored dots indicate RSVP page visibility — 🟢 green means the slot is visible, 🔵 blue means it's hidden.

Attending on merge tag
We've also introduced the Attending on merge tag, which you can use in your mailings to let invitees know when they're expected.
