There may be an occasion where you need to manually match an RFID tag with a Launchmetrics Sample. This workflow allows you to do this very efficiently using the using the Samples iOS mobile app.
Use case 1: You need to rectifying incorrectly commissioned tags
Use Case 2: You are using RFID tags that were printed or provided by another vendor and need to match them to your Launchmetrics Samples.
RFID Tag Matching Workflow
Use this dedicated workflow if you know you will be matching multiple samples in a row.
- Open the Samples by Launchmetrics iOS app — download the latest version from the Apple App Store
- After logging in, tap on the More button in the bottom navigation
- Tap RFID Tag Matching
- Scan a Launchmetrics Barcode using either the Camera Scan or 1d/2d supported scan gun
- When the sample detail view appears, use the scan gun to scan the RFID tag
- Upon successful Match, you can immediately scan another barcode.
Sample Detail View
If you encounter a tag during your day to day work that has not been commissioned correctly, you can easily re-associate the tag to the sample.
- In the detail view of the sample, tap the Match RFID button
- The Ready to Scan status bar should appear
- Then scan the RFID tag
