The channel filter in Discover now displays channels in a nested structure, matching the familiar layout you already use in Insights.
✨ What's new?
When you open the channel filter in Discover, channels are now organized by type:
- Online — includes Online Media and Blogs
- Social — includes Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Weibo, Douyin, Bilibili, RED, and WeChat
This replaces the previous flat list with a cleaner, grouped view.
⚙️ How it works
Click on a channel type to expand it and see its nested channels. Selecting a parent option (like "Online" or "Social") automatically selects all channels within that group. You can also select individual channels as before.
Search works the same way — typing in the filter will surface both parent categories and nested channels.
✅ Why it matters
- This brings consistency between Discover and Insights, so you get the same intuitive experience across both products. Grouping channels by type makes it faster to find what you're looking for and reduces visual clutter.
- It also speeds up filtering: selecting "Online" or "Social" now selects all channels in that category with a single click — no need to check each one individually.
💡 Good to know
- Saved filters, saved reports, URL parameters, and shared links continue to work as expected with the new structure.
- The legacy "Print" channel has been removed as a separate option — use the Print channel type instead.
