✨ New! Smart Tags: AI-powered tagging in Discover
Discover's feed now understands your coverage by meaning, beyond keywords. Smart Tags use AI to read each placement and tag it based on what it's actually about, capturing themes that keyword tags can't, in every language, applied automatically to new coverage each night.
🎯 Why This Matters
Some of the most important things said about a brand never come down to a keyword: how sustainability is framed, whether a campaign's tone lands, which ambassadors drive coverage. Tracking those themes used to mean slow, manual tagging, so most teams never tracked them at all.
With this release, AI captures qualitative themes across your coverage automatically, and you can measure and benchmark them like any other metric.
✅ What's New
1. A new tag type, powered by AI
Smart Tags classify placements by content in every language and apply automatically to new coverage each night. They behave like any other tag: they appear on placement cards, filter your feed, and feed dashboards and reports. An AI badge marks them so you always know which tags were applied by AI.
2. Configured for you by your Launchmetrics team
In this release, your Customer Success Manager sets Smart Tags up for you based on your reporting needs, for example a set of brand pillars or a campaign-tracking scheme. You can still add or remove a Smart Tag on individual placements by hand.

🔎 What This Enables
- Qualitative Share of Voice: measure what percentage of your coverage talks about a given theme, track it over time, and compare it against competitors.
- Themes keywords miss: brand pillars, campaign tonality, and key messages get tagged consistently, in any language, without manual work.
- Everything in one place: because Smart Tags live in the same system as your existing tags, they work in the filters, dashboards, and reports you already use.
