📆 Events Filter 📢
We're excited to announce another powerful update in Insights!
What's New?
You can now benchmark your brand's performance across major industry events, including New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Bafta, Met Gala, and more. Previously available only for the print channel in Report, the events filter is now accessible for social and online channels as well, enabling a comprehensive cross-channel analysis.
What’s an event?
An event refers to significant industry-wide occurrences that have a broad impact on the fashion, beauty, or luxury sectors, such as the Met Gala, New York Fashion Week or similar high-profile occasions. These events are widely recognized across the industry and involve multiple brands or participants.
In contrast, brand-specific activities, such as individual store openings or product launches, do not qualify as events under this definition.
Where can you find it?
Similar to the brand filter, the events filter is now available throughout Insights and functions like any other filter. You can use it to view your brand and competitor performance across different channels for specific events, gaining deeper insights into the impact of these key moments.
How Does it Work?
You can find this filter across Benchmark, Brand, Voice Focus, and Reports, within Insights.
But for demonstration purposes, let’s focus on the Benchmark focus page
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Insights platform.
- Navigate to the Benchmark section.
- Select the specific date range for your analysis, e.g., September 1 - October 5 (the timeframe for Fall Fashion Week).
- Click on the Events filter.
- Choose the events you'd like to analyze your brands for, such as Paris Fashion Week or London Fashion Week.
- Click on “Apply.”
After clicking "Apply," the Benchmark page will update to display data based on the events you've selected.
Pro Tip: To get the most relevant insights, select dates that match the event timeframe. For instance, when analyzing NYFW, it's best to choose dates in September or February.
