✨ Bulk Status Changes in Sample Manager

You can now select multiple samples in Sample Manager and change their status in one action — no more updating samples one by one.

🎯 Why This Matters

Before this release, changing a sample's status — returning it, marking it end-of-life, gifting it — had to be done one sample at a time in Sample Manager, or via a separate flow in Audit. For large cleanups (end-of-season returns, EOL processing), that meant a lot of repetitive clicking.

With this release, you can bulk-update sample statuses directly from Sample Manager, the same way you already do in Audit.

✅ What's New

  1. "Mark as…" queue option — queue samples in Sample Manager, then use "Mark as…" to bulk-update their status (Return, EOL, Gift, Archive, and more).
  2. Mixed-status queues for bulk EOL & Return — queue a mix of on-loan and available samples and run a bulk EOL or Return action in one go. It opens the Send Out creation modal pre-filled with your selection.

🔎 What This Enables

  • Faster inventory clean-ups — bulk-update dozens of samples in one action instead of one-by-one.
  • Consistent behavior with Audit — same pattern, no new workflow to learn.
  • Less friction for large end-of-season returns or EOL processing.

Info

📌 Samples must be from the same department to be queued together. Queuing across departments shows an error asking you to clear the queue and retry with one department.
