✅ More flexible scanning
Scanning is no longer limited to the center red line of the scanning area. The full detection area is active, so barcodes scan at any angle or orientation. Barcodes can be read at any angle or orientation, which matters for warehouse teams scanning at height or with labels sideways on a rack.
Don't hesitate to also use the tap to focus if you're still having issue scanning your barcode.
🐞 Bug Fix
- Barcodes that previously failed to scan or required multiple attempts now scan correctly. The issue was caused by the camera defaulting to 0.5x zoom (ultra-wide lens), which made barcodes appear too small to read. The app now uses standard 1x zoom, consistent with how other barcode scanners work.
- The ability to type a barcode manually into the barcode field has been restored. This is available as a fallback across all scanning flows (Scan, Return, Verify, Create Sendout).
