With the 1.3 version of the Sample iOS app, you can now print sample labels directly from your phone.
This works with any bluetooth capable printers including mobile or desktop printers.
To pair your Bluetooth printer:
- Turn your printer ON.
- Go to your iOS device’s Settings page > Bluetooth.
- Make sure the Bluetooth toggle is turned ON
- If your printer is not showing, check below the FAQ
- The printer’s 12-digit Serial number will appear under Other Devices.
- Tap to pair.
- If you're having any issues pairing a Bluetooth device on your Apple phone, visit this page.
- If this is your first time pairing the printer to this device, check your printer screen to allow first-time pairing.
- Depending on your printer model, you should press a button with a checkmark on the printer screen to complete the pairing process.
Choose Label Template
- Tap More in the navigation
- Tap Printer in the Hardware section
- You can choose if you always want to print using the template of the current department or from the owner department
- Then choose which label type to use. It will reference from the department you selected above.
Note that your configuration will be remembered so no need to set it each time.
The choices configured here are independent of your web printer settings
